Your Free Consultation

The moment you suspect you have an infected tooth, call our endodontist in Manhattan for a free consultation. Dr. Patrick will perform a gentle examination to identify signs of diseased pulp or tissue within the root of your tooth and move forward with endodontic treatment if necessary.

Making You Comfortable

Root canal therapy isn't painful—it's meant to relieve your discomfort. We administer a local anesthetic to block pain at the treatment site. We also know that you may be anxious about the procedure, so sedation is available upon request. Let us know how we can make the most relaxing experience possible.

Treating Your Tooth

Dr. Patrick will create a small opening in the crown of your tooth to access the soft tissues within. He will remove the infected pulp, nerves, and blood vessels with fine instruments, sanitize the inner pulp chamber, and refill the chamber with a biocompatible material to stabilize the tooth.

Designing Your Crown

You’ll likely need a dental crown after root canal therapy to fully protect your tooth and bite in the long term. Getting your crown is part of the same appointment at Manhattan Dental Practices. We take measurements, design restorations, and fabricate them on-site.

Placing Your Crown

You can stay comfortable at our office while we put the finishing touches on your custom porcelain crown. When it’s placed, we’ll take the time to ensure it looks and feels just right before you leave.

“After years of bad experiences, tricky teeth, and confusing costs, I generally *hate* going to the dentist. But I am SO HAPPY I’ve finally found a great office and a Dr that is funny, gentle, and graciously transparent when it comes to my insurance needs.”
