Dr Daniel Bernstein, DDS, FACP Prosthodontist
Dr. Daniel Bernstein is a board-certified prosthodontic specialist. He attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he graduated with highest distinction and was inducted into the Dental Honor Society. Following his dental degree, he pursued a general practice residency at the San Francisco VAMC, further honing his skills. Dr. Bernstein subsequently worked at a cosmetic dental office in Manhattan for several years before deciding to specialize. He completed a three-year prosthodontics residency at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital while simultaneously completing didactic courses at New York University. During his final year, Dr. Bernstein was awarded the position of Chief Resident of the dental clinic.
Dr. Bernstein has earned the exclusive titles of Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is actively involved in teaching and currently serves as a faculty member at the VA Medical Center, Manhattan Campus Prosthodontics Residency Program. He also holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. In this role, he serves as the supervising practitioner on international volunteer trips, allowing him to continue his joint passions for teaching and providing dentistry to underserved populations.
Dr. Bernstein treats dentistry as both an art and a science. He focuses on delivering care that is compassionate and gentle, while making evidence-based decisions to provide excellent clinical results. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bernstein enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, grilling, snowboarding, watching sports, and hanging out with his dog!
